The drive to Labuanbajo was just as enjoyable as the ride to Ruteng. Beautiful scenery from mountains to ocean to rice paddies. Lots of small churches and Cathedrals in the rusty, dusty little towns. Next time I make it out to Flores though, I’m hiring a private car to do the cross-island journey, because its been incredibly difficult to get any shots the past two days. Two of the most scenic days of my life and no photos! Arggghh.
